让Windows Media Player阅读CD信息

CD-Text是在音频CD上储存额外的信息，这些信息有专辑、名字、曲名、歌曲信息和歌手名组成。不少电脑播放器如Winamp和MediaMonkey都可以读取CD-Text，并显示来取代原来只显示“歌曲一”、“歌曲二”等。
Windows Media Player官方并不支持CD-Text，这样WMPCDText就云生而起，它是一个Windows Media Player 10、11播放器的插件。它能够让Windows Media Player读出CD中的文本信息。
该插件可以自动载入当前播放的CD-Text信息。另一个方法是可以用右键点击载入的曲子来显示歌曲信息。
显然，它只适用于运用CD-Text的CD。不少烧录软件可以烧录CD-Text，如Nero, ImgBurn和iTunes。这个插件适用于Windows 2003, Windows XP和Windows Vista。
