EZTV使用BitTorrent流媒体技术

自从BitTorrent出现后它就成为了最受欢迎的分享文件方法。BitTorrent的速度非常快，因为它将一个文件分成多个文件分别下载最后整合，这中网络协议形式的下载便开始流行。
该服务既有优点也有缺点，这牵涉到隐私和版权问题，但也给与空前的下载自由。我并不想讨论这些问题，而是谈论这个革命性的torrent下载技术的下一步。
EZTV是一个以BitTorrent形式下载电视节目的网站，目前它宣布计划使用BitTorrent Video Streaming。它使用Tribler的文件分享技术来实现该目标。简单地说，它可以让你在下载文件的同时观看视频，而不用等待下载完毕才观看，这对用户来说非常实用，如果你下载一部分视频并预览后觉得不好的话可以马上中断下载。
当然，你需要一个特别的播放器SwarmPlayer，它是一个修改过的与VLC播放器和客户端相结合的视频播放器。变态下载的流媒体通过一个特殊的.tstream格式文件进行播放，同时它也接受标准的.torrent格式文件。SwarmPlayer目前还处于测试版。
如果EZTV能够真正地实现这个目标的话，这将开启一个全新的BitTorrent技术。显然，流媒体并不适合那些网速很慢的用户，对那些使用高速网络连接的用户来说这是个好消息。我希望别的变态下载门户网站也能使用流媒体技术，也希望它的格式能被普通播放器所接受。
流媒体需要使用很多带宽，SwarmPlayer并没有说明它所需要的带宽。另一个让人担忧的是合法的问题。
