如果你问一个网络用户有关网络电话的话，他一定会说Skype。的确，Skype是一个知名品牌，甚至连普通的网络使用者都知道。你听说过Gizmo5 或别的网络电话服务商吗？Gizmo5是Gizmo的一个项目，它为台式电脑或移动电话提供客户端，支持Windows、Macintosh和Linux。
这些竞争者的主要问题是让小组一同使用。如果我喜欢Gizmo5的话就必须让他人也使用Gizmo5。它的主要功能大概有四点：VOIP通话、即时通讯器、文件分享和视频通话。

Gizmo5看起来是一个非常不错的Skype替代物，如果你的朋友们还在使用Skype的话，不妨劝他们转用Gizmo5。
