十个少见的Firefox优化配置

Firefox提供一个非常好的更改设置的方法那就是它可在地址栏中输入about:config。这也使得很多用户觉得有点不可招架，因为有太多的配置选项。我并没有将全部的设置看一遍，但我对那些比较少见的设置有所了解，并愿意将它们介绍给大家。所谓“少见”是指在那些专门介绍优化Firefox的文章中比较少介绍的方法。
在我描述这十个方法前我想说明一些如何进入配置进行更改。你可以在Firefox的地址栏中输入about:config来进行配置。也就是在输入网址的地方打开它的配置列表。
所有设定都显示在列表中，你也可以用“Filter”来找到你需要进行配置点。一个在入口处的双击可以打开一个菜单，你可以更改其中的参数。介绍了基本的配置步骤后现在我来讲优化配置：
* plugin.expose_full_path – 为about:plugins原始显示提到的名字，但不是它的路径。设定为True可更改显示结果。
* accessibility.tabfocus – 按一个网站上的小窗可转换到不同的网站元素。这个设置定义哪个Elements（元素）将被考虑。1=Forms, 2=other Elements and 4=Links。Elements可被连接，它的原始设定为7，也就是说它可辨认所有的Elements（元素）。如果你想让它仅仅与forms相关联的话，可更改为1。
* browser.chrome.favicons – displays those little icons next to the site url and in tabs by default. Changing this to false displays a standard icon for all websites.原始设定的是为在地址栏边显示的这些小图标而设置的。更改它为false可为所有的网站显示一个正常的图标。
* browser.download.manager.closeWhenDone – 它的原始设定为false，这意味下载管理器保持打开，即使下载后也如此。设定为true可自动关闭窗口。
* browser.download.manager.retention – 定义Firefox如何处理结束下载。原始设定的value为2，意思是Firefox不会自动清除下载文件列表。将它设定为0可自动清除下载列表，设定位1可在重启Firefox后清除列表。
* browser.preferences.instantApply – 将设置更改为true会立刻生效而不需要点击OK确认。
* layout.spellcheckDefault – 定义拼写检查时的动作。原始设定为只激活表格中的最后两行。更改设置为2可适用所有表格，设定为0是禁止拼写检查。
* editor.singleLine.pasteNewlines – 定义Firefox如何处理如果一个用户粘贴超过一行的文字。在窗口的原始设定（1）仅粘贴文字的第一行（在Linux中），（0）别的也可以（2）用回车和空白键替换carriage，（3）在栏中粘贴所有的文字，（4）用回车和“,”键替换carriage。
* layout.word_select.eat_space_to_next_word – 如果你在Firefox中双击一个字，它将自动标识。原始设定为在该字后又一个空间。如果你更改它为false，只有字会被选中，而不会带有右面的空间。
* browser.fixup.alternate.suffix – 如果输入域名时不完整的话，Firefox总是自动添加一个后缀。所以当只输入www.mozilla时，它总会添加.com，因为这是它的原始设定的添加后缀。也许你宁愿添加一个别的国家，如.fr或.de，只要简单地设定为该国家的域名后缀。
