给Windows注册表拍快照是一个观察系统在一段时间内的变动的一种方法，快照时间设置可以是天、小时、或分钟。
Regshot是一个能给Windows注册表拍快照的软件，并可以比较两段时间内快照的不同。结果可以用html或text格式文件显示，这样就非常容易比较。
它也可以添加要检查的目录。一个叫UnDoReg的插件可以非常简单地用载入类别报告来取消所有注册表中的更改。
