看上去电视公司终于明白网络是他们扩展电视节目的地方，他们明白如果能利用网络来播放新片的话会带来巨大的利润。
Amazon和Yahoo是两家提供电视新片的网站，通常这些新片仅提供给一定范围内的用户如来自美国IP地址的用户。别的地方的用户则通常使用点对点或Usenet去从那里获得一些片断。
如果你住在美国你现在可以到Yahoo TV premieres去看Aliens in America，Friday Night Lights，直到九月三十日结束，后面播放的则是Dexter, Life is Wild和Brotherhood.
Amazon Unbox premieres目前提供的季节新片是Rules of Engagement、Til Death、House和Big Bang Theory。Amazon Unbox也仅提供电视节目给美国用户。
