在Windows Live Mail中添加邮件过滤规则

Enigma，一个常常访问我的blog的读者，他询问是否有一种方法在他的Windows Live Mail桌面软件阻止pdf垃圾邮件。我决定去看看以了解情况。indows Live Mail桌面软件基于邮件客户端如Thunderbird或Microsoft Outlook并集合其他一些Microsoft的程序如Windows Live Messenger或Live Spaces。
它并没有一个明显可以添加过滤邮件的地方，我发现菜单上唯一的可以设置的地方是安全设置，它可以管理（whitelist）白名单（blacklist）、黑名单和数字签名。没有邮件过滤设置。
在看过工具条上的所有菜单后我查看了在工具上的菜单，它正是我要的地方。Microsoft想让它的新程序看上去干净，所以隐藏了很多功能和设置包括邮件过滤规则。
如果你想自动过滤.pdf文件可以建立一个新的邮件规则。点击“Where the message body contains specific words”和“Where the
message has an attachment”。在“To edit this description..”上点击“contains specific words”，添加“.pdf”。
现在可以选择执行该规则。我建议移动它到一个新建的文件夹用一个星期来观察是否过滤规则有效，或确定只有pdf垃圾邮件被移动到这里。如果它工作正常的话你就可以像通常那样删除垃圾邮件。
选择如“pdf spam”来保存邮件规则。这个方法也适用于其他类型的邮件过滤，只要添加别的邮件规则即可。
