商业公司总是千方百计地想用自动装置来减少人工的费用，简单地说就是用电脑来取代工人和外部采购，这意味着在廉价劳动力的国家里生产产品。在他们的世界里最好没有劳动力支出而得到最高的利润来取悦股东。
一个德国的餐馆老板有了一个非常了不起的想法，用自动机器来取代餐厅服务员，它能将食品从厨房送到点菜的顾客面前。顾客可以使用一个触屏式ATM机器来点菜和管理菜单付款。
厨房位于餐馆的最高层，餐具使用轨道连接系统，它可以送达到顾客面前。没有解释这些用完后的碟子如何送到顶部的。
