如果你不能等到Windows Live Messenger 8.5正式版出笼的话可以现在下载非官方的泄漏版。该版本只有西班牙语，但你可以下载英语语言包来替代西班牙语。
该软件本身有一个新用户界面适用于Windows Vista，Windows Plus用户可能要下载msimg32.dll文件，并放到目录中合适的位置中加入额外的功能。目前并不是所有的都运转正常。
我宁愿在安装这个版本前背份我的系统。这个版本并没有广告，而之前的版本被加上了广告。当然，在你下载前还是要先扫描一下。
你也注意到它支持插件。
